The Nursing Department at Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia Hospital aims to provide the highest level of care and maintain individual health, prevent and treat diseases, and improve the quality of life for individuals and the community. This is achieved through the application of correct and modern scientific principles and practices.
Nurses care for patients throughout their stay, coordinating all aspects of their treatment and residency with services specifically designed to improve their quality of life and provide the necessary support.
The Nursing Department at Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia Hospital offers three types of nursing services:
-Nursing care for the elderly and disabled.
-Nursing care for patients with mental and psychological illnesses.
-Palliative care nursing.
The department employs approximately 120 nurses with both university and professional qualifications, serving around 325 bed patients around the clock, seven days a week.
The Nursing Department also provides home nursing services such as administering treatment, elderly care, and other home nursing services.
The department ensures the highest quality of nursing services through adherence to standards set by the Ministry of Health and by measuring various performance indicators such as patient and family satisfaction, annual evaluations, and patient-to-nurse ratios in nursing units.
To enhance the skills and qualifications of the nursing team, the Training and Education Department organizes lectures aimed at awareness, guidance, and keeping pace with scientific advancements.
Dar Al-Ajaza Al-Islamia Hospital is an accredited training center recognized by all universities and training institutes across various specializations including psychiatry, gerontology, nursing sciences, psychology, physical therapy, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, laboratory sciences, pharmacy, and nutrition.

The nursing team participates in training and educational workshops both inside and outside the hospital for continuous training and education, such as Basic Life Support (BLS) and epidemic and disease control (Cholera, COVID-19).
