Volunteers


Our work would not be possible without our women volunteers. They are passionate, inspired and making a difference in the life of the elderly at DAIH.

The "Committee of Female Friends” was the first volunteer body established by DAIH Board OF Directors in 1991.

The purpose of this Committee is to support DAIH services and inpatients. 


The Committee of Female Friends operates under the umbrella of the Dar Al Ajaza Al Islamia as stipulated in the Association bylaws: 


  1. The Board of Director supervises this Committee and may designate a representative for the same to attend the meetings of its general and administrative bodies, provided that the Board of Trustees shall specify the duties of its representative when necessary.
  2. The Committee of Female Friends shall send to the Administrative Body of the Board of Directors after each meeting a copy of the minutes of the meeting.
  3. At the end of every three months the Committee of Female Friends shall submit to the Board of Directors a quarterly report on all activities and a statement of all expenses and revenues during the past quarter.
  4. At the end of every year the Committee of Female Friends shall submit to the Board of Directors a comprehensive annual report on the works of the previous year and the program / activities of the Committee for the following year.
