On June 2, DAIH held a very special iftar event bringing together the elderly at the Dar with the children from Dar Al Aytam al Islamia. The purpose of this intergenerational event was to assess the children and elderly reactions to being together.
The children brought life and laughter to Dar Al Ajaza, and the elderly gave them love and pampered them as if they were their own grandchildren.
Teta and Jiddo welcomed the children with bags of candies and gave them their Eiddie on the night of Eid Al Fitr.
A special event indeed filled with love and compassion.
